Traditionally, storytelling has been used to teach morals, maintain cultural values, to pass on methods of survival and to praise God. Oral traditions are a means to communicating wisdom, courage, and strength. Stories reveal personalities of characters that we as humans, encounter on a daily basis. We are therefore, allowed to express ourselves subliminally and straight-forwardly using simple characters, animals and universal elements.
