Philadelphia Community Youth Theater (PCYT) is an initiative of Griotworks and is working to serve youth in Philadelphia communities.

The objective of the PCYT is to introduce Philadelphia youth to theatre arts as a means of creativity, discipline and development while providing the youth opportunities to cultivate a range of talents. Youth who participate in the program will experience theatre as a channel to build a working mechanism from start to finish. Participants perform before youth audiences, providing an outlet to communicate with their peers through the freedom of the performing arts.
